Finding My Passion

Hi, Elad!

Like many others, I've followed your success with SiteBuildIt for over a year now. Through that year, I've wiggled on the "see-saw" about whether or not to buy it; of course, a year later I wonder where I would be if i HAD already made my purchase.

So what's the problem? My passion. I am passionate about my home - Hawaii. Problem is, there's SO MANY websites that already exist about Hawaii that I'm afraid my website will get lost in cyberspace. Narrowing my niche would be my island, Oahu; although, there are STILL many websites out there. Any advice?

Is Your Niche Good or Bad?
by: Elad

Jennifer,

You can always wonder where you would have been if you HAD bought SBI last year. But why waste your time on what may have been. Just focus on where you plan to be next year :-) And the year after that, and after that, and so on...

I get many mails from people who ask me something like... "I've got this really great idea for a niche... what do you think, is it any good?"

Well, you can never know ahead of time if you've got a good niche or not. And you don't need to rack your mind to try and figure it out. SBI! has tools that help you find a niche you are passionate about and that has a good supply/demand ratio.

Hawaii, Oahu? Don't worry about it at this stage. When you start researching, you'll see that other topics come up that you didn't think of and that could have a big potential.

When I started off I thought about a travel site or screenwriting site. I never in my wildest dreams imagined I'd end up building party-oriented sites.

Once you decide where you want to be next year and if you decide to give SBI a shot, start off with a clean mind and just use the very powerful tools SBI offers to guide through the entire process of choosing a topic.

And take your time!

I wish you the best of luck.

Elad
